World Cup: Kizz Daniel Thrills Fans At Qatar

Nigerian music star, Kizz Daniel, on Wednesday, November 23, 2022, thrilled music enthusiasts and his fans at the ongoing World Cup tournament in Qatar.

In the course of the performance which lasted almost 30 minutes, Kizz Daniel performed a series of songs from his music catalogue, ranging from ‘Buga’, ‘Cough’, ‘Lie’, ‘Pour Me Water’, ‘One Ticket’, ‘Eh God’, ‘Good Time’ , amongst others.

It was gathered that more than 40,000 people witnessed the Buga crooner performance, and they sand enthusiastically to the performed songs.

This appears to be a dream come true for Kizz Daniel, as the artiste some months ago expressed his desire to perform at the 2022 World Cup.

Aside from the Fly Boy Inc. boss, Patoranking is another Nigerian music star that performed at the event.

However, while Canadian actress, dancer and singer Nora Fatehi is set to perform on Tuesday, November 29, American singer and songwriter Trinidad Cardona would be performing on Thursday, December 1, and award-winning DJ Calvin Harris would perform on Saturday, December 10.

Sammie Okposo, a renowned Nigerian gospel singer, on Friday, November 25, 2022, passed away.

As reported on Newsrand, Okposo slumped and died at the age of 51.

Below are quick facts you should know about Sammie Okposo

  1. He was born on May 30, 1971.
  2. He was born and bred in Delta State.
  3. The multiple award-winning artist started music in his early when he was a member of his local church where he played the piano for the choir at 10.
  4. Okposo was also a music producer, psalmist and CEO of Zamar Entertainment.
  5. He released his first album Addicted in 2004.
  6. His most recent album, The Statement (2018) was produced by the Grammy-winning Kevin Bond.
  7. In 1995, he joined Nollywood as a soundtrack producer and eventually ventured into music producing.
  8. He was Globacom ambassador, United Nations Peace Ambassador and had a couple of other honours to his name.
  9. Okposo made headlines in January 2022 when he apologised to his wife, Ozioma on his verified Instagram page for cheating on her with lady known also as African Doll in the United States of America (USA) for an incident that occurred in 2021. She accused him of impregnating and abandoning her.
  10. Following the incident, the singer decided to stay away from ministry for a while to go back in his spiritual steps before rejoining it after a few months.

Former BBNaija housemate, Pere has revealed his dream to become an evangelist and preach the gospel to millions of people in the world.

The reality Tv star took to his Twitter page to make this astonishing revelation. He clearly stated that his dream is to stand on the pulpit and preach to millions of people before passing away. He wrote;

“Forget this celebrity BS, I’m gonna stand on the pulpit someday and I’d preach the gospel to tens of millions. It’s my dream. The one last thing I have to do before leaving earth.”

Egbi’s revelation comes a few weeks after the Nollywood actor Yul Edochie recently said he has a calling to be a preacher of God. He said;

“I have a calling to be a preacher of God, to preach the word of God through action. I have had this calling a long time ago actually, many years ago. But I always felt the time has not come or the timing wasn’t right. But now, it’s very strong. I feel the time has come,” However, Nigerians trail Pere for his recent reveal, beseeching him to cling to his celebrity lifestyle and refrain from being an evangelist.
