Nigerians React As Nkechi Blessing Visits Ooni of Ife

Nollywood Actress, Nkechi Blessing, has stirred social media controversy, as she visited the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwunsi, in his palace at Ile-Ife, Osun State on Monday, 21st November 2022.

Nkechi shared on her Instagram page a picture of her and the monarch with a caption that talked about how she enjoyed his company, and the warm reception and stated that the King was jovial.

She wrote; “ever met a jovial king? Well this picture says it all. I have never laughed this hard in a long time. Thank you so much for the warm reception his Imperial Majesty Ooni of Ife, Oba Enitan Adeyeye Ogunwusi Ojaja II. God bless your existence”

Meanwhile, Nigerians reacted to the picture that she shared online, with comments and conversations about the Monarch’s recent marathon marriages, with many desiring to know the purpose of her visit or if she has finally gotten her to wish to be the eighth wife.

itsdarey said, “Nkechi you shouldn’t have locked the comment section in that your picture with Ooni, we your fan that will still comment good thing dey nau.”

Remember, Nkechi Blessing recently requested to be one of the wives of the Ooni of Ife and said she was waiting patiently for his response.

Also, Blessing recently found another boyfriend a few months after breaking up with ex-lover and Ekiti State politician, Opeyemi Falegan. According to several reports, the marriage crashed over infidelity allegations and this was recorded to be the messiest and most controversial breakup in the Nigerian Entertainment Industry.

Sammie Okposo, a renowned Nigerian gospel singer, on Friday, November 25, 2022, passed away.

As reported on Newsrand, Okposo slumped and died at the age of 51.

Below are quick facts you should know about Sammie Okposo

  1. He was born on May 30, 1971.
  2. He was born and bred in Delta State.
  3. The multiple award-winning artist started music in his early when he was a member of his local church where he played the piano for the choir at 10.
  4. Okposo was also a music producer, psalmist and CEO of Zamar Entertainment.
  5. He released his first album Addicted in 2004.
  6. His most recent album, The Statement (2018) was produced by the Grammy-winning Kevin Bond.
  7. In 1995, he joined Nollywood as a soundtrack producer and eventually ventured into music producing.
  8. He was Globacom ambassador, United Nations Peace Ambassador and had a couple of other honours to his name.
  9. Okposo made headlines in January 2022 when he apologised to his wife, Ozioma on his verified Instagram page for cheating on her with lady known also as African Doll in the United States of America (USA) for an incident that occurred in 2021. She accused him of impregnating and abandoning her.
  10. Following the incident, the singer decided to stay away from ministry for a while to go back in his spiritual steps before rejoining it after a few months.

Former BBNaija housemate, Pere has revealed his dream to become an evangelist and preach the gospel to millions of people in the world.

The reality Tv star took to his Twitter page to make this astonishing revelation. He clearly stated that his dream is to stand on the pulpit and preach to millions of people before passing away. He wrote;

“Forget this celebrity BS, I’m gonna stand on the pulpit someday and I’d preach the gospel to tens of millions. It’s my dream. The one last thing I have to do before leaving earth.”

Egbi’s revelation comes a few weeks after the Nollywood actor Yul Edochie recently said he has a calling to be a preacher of God. He said;

“I have a calling to be a preacher of God, to preach the word of God through action. I have had this calling a long time ago actually, many years ago. But I always felt the time has not come or the timing wasn’t right. But now, it’s very strong. I feel the time has come,” However, Nigerians trail Pere for his recent reveal, beseeching him to cling to his celebrity lifestyle and refrain from being an evangelist.
