BET Awards 2022: Tems, Wizkid, Other Winners (See Full List)

Music stars, Tems and Wizkid, have again placed Nigeria on the global map following their win at the just held BET Awards 2022, which took place on Sunday, June 26, 2022.

For Tems, the ceremony was a double celebration, as she went home with two plagues -the reputable ‘Best International Act’ award and the plaque for ‘Best Collaboration’ for ‘Essence’ remix with Wizkid and Justin Bieber.

Tems dedicated the ‘Best International Act’ award to all the young women, striving to be successful in their various fields. “Thank you so much for this. Thank you so much. It’s an honour.”

“I mean, this is my first award show that I’m winning something and I just want to use this as an opportunity to speak to every single young, old, whatever, every single woman watching this, every single girl watching this at home. Where I’m from, things like this don’t happen,” she said.

BBNaija: I Prefer A Full Housewife Kind Of Woman, Says Chizzy

BBNaija Season 7 housemate, Chizzy has made a shocking revelation about his ideal woman, saying he would prefer to marry a woman who would only agree to be a full housewife.

Chizzy made this revelation during a discussion with his peers in the BBNaija season 7 house.

The reality TV star, who maintained that he doesn’t want to end up with a working wife, said it is either she is a stay-at-home woman or someone that owns her business.

As the conversation continues, he clarified that it is not in his plan to marry an entertainer as well, and a career woman is not an option for him.

Meanwhile, Chizzy was nominated alongside six other BBNaija housemates for eviction.

BBNaija: How Groovy Stirred Drama Between Ilebaye And Chichi

Last night (Saturday, August 13, 2022), BBNaija housemate, Groovy stirred a drama between his female peers in the house, Ilebaye, and Chichi, during and after the party.

Newsrand understands that following the disqualification of Beauty, who was Groovy’s love interest, the 26-year-old artist arguably became the most sought-after male housemate in the house as Phyna, Ilebaye, and Chichi, are fighting to replace the former.

As the party was ongoing, Chichi and Ilebaye engaged in a fight as they got jealous of themselves over Groovy on the dance floor.

According to Chichi, Groovy asked her for a dance, and she agreed. While they were dancing, Ilebaye came and pushed her away.

Displeased with this development, Chichi checked out on Groovy and lashed out at Ilebaye.

You’re a man, sometimes you need to be a man, address the issue immediately…..,” Chichi told Groovy.

Following the incident, Groovy and Phyna ended up locking lips together on the bed.
