“When I was a player, I had the choice, of almost all the clubs. Coach, there aren’t fifty clubs I can go to. There are two or three possibilities.

“If I leave a club, it is to gain. I say this with all modesty. That’s why I can’t go anywhere.

The Frenchman has also canceled his rumored move to Manchester United, stating language as a barrier

“When people say to me: ‘Do you want to go to Manchester?’ I understand English but I do not fully master it. He added

“I know there are coaches who go to clubs without speaking the language.

“But I work differently. To win, many elements come into play. It’s a global context. Me, I know what I need to win.”

Zidane who turns 50 years today, started his coaching career in Real Madrid, and he won three back-to-back Champions League with the Spanish Giant.

After leaving the club, he would later return but fail to win any trophy.

Zidane left a second time on 27 May 2021 after going trophyless that season.

The 1998 Balon d’Or winner has been linked to PSG, aside from many other clubs, as he is yet to make his decision.
