BBNaija Season 6 Star Pere Wants To Feature Tiwa Savage

BBNaija Season 6 Star Pere Wants To Feature Tiwa Savage

BBNaija season 6 finalist Pere has disclosed that he wishes to feature music star Tiwa Savage in a song.

In a radio interview monitored by Newsrand, the reality TV star said he believes savage is the only artiste he could leverage to resurrect his music career.

He made this known as he said he remains passionate about Nollywood films.

“After BBNaija, I want to venture into Nollywood. I want to act and also resurrect my music career. I also hope to feature Tiwa Savage in my songs. I have two upcoming movies in the cinema this month. The movies will be coming out on the same day,” Pere stated.

Pere who was the second runner-up in the final of the show with 14.77 votes said that all he did on the reality show was real and it is who he truly is.

He said, “What you all saw about me from beginning to the end of the show is me. You know that every coin has two sides. But on the normal chill side, I am a very easy going guy. I do not like trouble and I am reserved. I had a strategy before I entered the house. What I perceived as WhiteMoney’s strategy would not be perceived as his strategy now that he is outside the house. We will define it as his strength that he capitalised on. That is wisdom which everyone should do.”

The Delta state-born reality star also spoke about his relationship with his fellow housemate, Maria.

“I did not feel anything for Maria. She is just very likable. She has a good personality which attracted me to her. My likeness for her does not mean I want to date her. There were other girls like Peace and Sasky who were also likable in the house,” he added.

Tonto Dikeh Addresses Critics, Says She Has Never Failed In Leadership

Tonto Dikeh Addresses Critics, Says She Has Never Failed In Leadership

Nollywood actress, Tonto Dikeh has addressed her critics following her emergence as the running mate of Tonte Ibraye, the governorship candidate of the African Democratic Congress in Rivers (ADC), for the 2023 general elections.

In an interview with  Sunday Politics, a current affairs programme on Channels Television, monitored by Newsrand, Dikeh stated that she has never failed in leadership.

Her words: “I know that this is controversial but nevertheless, this is the truth: a deputy is a spare tyre and I’m willing to be the best spare tyre every governor or every man had ever had.

I know and that is something I’ve never been able really gotten to explain to a lot of people but I think now I have to because I have to take it out for my campaign name and initiative because I don’t want the traditional rulers to think me ahead of them. My ‘King’ comes as a result of my name, as a name gotten from my son. It is not a title in any way or form.”

On critical questions about her personal life that might come from political opponents, Dike stated, “I am prepared for anything, truthfully. I have had three years to work on this.

It is not something that I just came out or emerged with. We had a lot of time to work on this and for this. Criticism, I am ready; not criticism, I am ready. So, it doesn’t matter where the question is coming from or where it is not coming from.

I have failed in my life, I am not denying that and everybody has seen that. But am I going to fail with leadership? Have I ever failed in leadership? Let’s start with motherhood, I have ever failed in motherhood? Have I ever failed with my Foundation? I think I was one of the Foundations who actually stood up for this country and helped this country in the time of the (COVID-19) pandemic.

There was no assistance whatsoever, I did it myself; I did it even more than the government. I did more than Imo State. I did it because I cared. So, I am prepared for whatever criticism it is. I know that it would come.”

Ogogo Narrates How He Used His Boxing Skill To Beat Rude Fan

Ogogo Narrates How He Used His Boxing Skill To Beat Rude Fan

Nollywood veteran actor, Taiwo Hassan, otherwise known as Ogogo, has narrated how he used his boxing skill to beat a rude fan for disrespecting him.

A video in which the film star was caught fighting had gone viral.

Explaining his side of the story, Ogogo said he went to inspect a project in his hometown, Ilaro, Ogun State, when some unknown fans approached him for money.

His words: “Before bloggers pick this up, let me tell my side of the story and the truth.

I was in Ilaro, my hometown, for the inspection of a project, after which some unknown guys walked up to me for the normal appraisals. ‘We watch your movie’, ‘give up (us) money’, ‘We watched you all through our childhood’. As actors, we hear these every day.

I offered all I had on me and one of them dragged me by my ‘agbada’ and demanded for an amount I could not pay. I asked him to leave me, but he said, ‘Do your worse (sic)’. The rest is story (sic).”

The actor also seized the opportunity to plead with fans who are in the habit of harassing celebrities. He wrote, “Please, stop harassing actors (and other) entertainers.

Do you pay anyone for doing your job? No. It is our job too. Accept all we offer when we do. Remember, once a boxer, always a boxer.”
