Father Mbaka Is Morally Right To Codemn Buhari - Newsrand Readers

Reverend Father Ejike Mbaka has gotten support from NEWSRAND readers, justifying the condemning statements the spiritual director made about the President.

According to our poll on the subject matter “Having said Buhari was God’s chosen in 2015, is it morally right for Father Mbaka to condemn him the way he did recently?”, over 40 percent deemed it moral.

Recall, that the Adoration Minister in 2015 and 2019 consecutively rallied votes for President Buhari saying that he is the man to lead Nigeria out of its predicament.

Of recent, Father Mbaka took a great U-turn and contradicted his own words, saying the country would be better without Buhari leading it, this statement brought a lot of controversies.

However, according to an earlier report by NEWSRAND, the Presidency would later respond to Mbaka, saying that the priest was only vexed because he was deprived of contracts by the President, who asked him to go through the right channel instead of boycotting.

In a Sunday sermon made by Father Mbaka who didn’t deny the allegation, he claimed the contract was that of ending the insecurity challenges that the country is facing.

Although some members of the public will see the actions and statement made by the Reverend as a conflict of interest, more numbers still stand by him as they believe that it is moral for him to change his opinion about Buhari if he is not doing what God has destined for him.
